Active Dogs

Very active,  highly-enthusiastic dogs require regular exercise.  These dogs are always ready for a power walk and would probably like  to follow that walk up with a few rounds of chasing their ball or engaging their minds with a puzzle toy. 

Senior Dogs

Senior dogs might appreciate a short slow walk from time to time with more time spent at home playing with a favorite toy or just enjoying ear scratches and companionship.

Leash Reactive Dogs

Leash reactive dogs do best when distance is maintained between them and situations, dogs and people that they are unfamiliar with.  We are trained to work with these guys and can help them learn better responses.

Puppies

Very young dogs and puppies require socialization to grow up to have good dog manners. Walking them in environments where there are people and dogs about might be a good option for them.  Please go here to find out more about puppy socialization and walking. 

WALKING AND ENRICHMENT

OUR PREMIER SERVICE!  At Heartfelt Dog Walking, we recognize that every dog is unique. Heartfelt isn’t your typical dog walk!  Yes, we take your dog for a fun walk, but it’s so much more! We treat every visit with your dog as a curated adventure – one that takes to heart the activities, sights, sounds, that YOUR dog enjoys most. Each visit with your dog will include a 30 or 60 minute walk.  Other activities may include:

  • Enrichment puzzles and games
  • Reinforcement of polite leash walking skills
  • Playing ball or frisbee in the backyard
  • When appropriate, taking the walk outside the neighborhood to local parks or nature trails
  • And of course, lots of ear scratches and tummy rubs - if your dog enjoys that sort of thing


Please note: Walking a dog outdoors is also dependent on the weather. In Kansas, it can go from extremely hot in the summer to bitter cold in the winter. We will adjust our outdoor time accordingly so that both humans and dogs are kept safe.

  • Dogs who receive regular exercise are calmer and better behaved at home, we require scheduling at least two days per week to get the most benefit from our walking services.
  • We offer a discount for clients who choose a package plan.   
  • Schedules can be adjusted to your specific needs - just ask!!
